Ikhtisar

Partikel halus dapat tetap stabil dalam air dan lolos melalui peralatan pemisahan utama. Flocculant membantu mengikat partikel-partikel tersebut menjadi agregat yang lebih besar sehingga lebih mudah mengendap, mengapung, atau tersaring.

Pada sistem air minyak dan gas, Flocculant sering digunakan untuk mendukung klarifikasi, deoiling, atau tahap polishing di mana penanganan solids membatasi kinerja.

Catatan pemilihan: Jenis polimer, muatan, berat molekul, dan kondisi pencampuran semuanya penting. Overdosing bisa sama merusaknya bagi kinerja seperti underdosing.
